Arthur H. Sumner

Arthur H. Sumner, age 87, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at the Hospice of Dayton on Monday, July 28, 2014 with his daughter and son-in-law by his side.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Sumner.
Art is survived by his daughter, Lois and her husband Gene Horgos; son, Mark Sumner; grandchildren, Brian Horgos, Sarah (Cory) Falgowski and Emily Sumner; great-grandchildren, Cora, Kale, Grady and Kara; sister, Wanda and her husband Graydon Rodgers; and niece, Lisa Mix.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 2-4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A memorial service will follow at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Art's memory to the Hospice of Dayton.
