Arthur E. Frazier
"Big Art"
Age 74, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009, after a lengthy illness, at the Troy Care & Rehab Center.
He was born July 21, 1934 in Huntington, West Virginia to Jefferson Lee & Rose Marie Frazier. In addition to his parents, Big Art was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Earl Frazier; and by one sister, Mahala Vaught Frazier.
Big Art is survived by his wife of the past 47 years, Roberta C. (Henderson) Frazier; four children, Becky Kelly, Jeanette Leiter, A. Eugene Frazier II and Robert Frazier; eight grandchildren, Kelly, Brandon, Tabatha, Tiffany, Colt, Ethan, Seth and Cory.
Big Art was a veteran of the U. S. Navy; a member of the New Carlisle Masonic Lodge F & AM; a lifetime member of the Treaty City Motorcycle Club; a Professional Referee for the American Motorcycle Assoc.; and a member of Local # 24 Sheet Metal Workers Union.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday (2/1) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 Noon until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Big Art to the Arthur Frazier Memorial Fund for the Out-of-Work Sheet Metal Workers Local # 224, c/o Security National Bank, 2035 S. Dayton-Lakeview Drive, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344.
