Art Shockey, age 46 of Trotwood, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018. He was born January 9, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Arthur and Gaynel Shockey.
Art had a heart of gold and would literally give the shirt of his back to anyone in need. In his younger years, he worked various jobs in construction. He is at peace now and will truly be missed by his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gaynel Shockey; daughter, Elizabeth Shockey; sister, Carla Shockey and nephew, Kenny Melton.
Art will be missed by his daughter, Pam Shockey; son, A.J. Shockey; wife, Lillie Shockey; sister, Veronica (Billy) Johnston; and nephews and a niece, Scotty, Joey, Billy, Mikie and Jasmine.
Private services will be held with his family.
