Art Holley, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on February 3, 1967, he was a pillar of love and laughter in the lives of those who knew him. A funny, goofy, and loving personality, Art was a true people person who touched the hearts of many and formed connections that will be cherished forever.
Art was a man of many talents and skills, proudly earning the title of a Jack of all trades. There was nothing he couldn't do; if he didn’t know how, he would learn. His relentless curiosity and determination inspired those around him to embrace their own potential.
His passion for life was evident in his hobbies. He found joy in fishing and golfing, often sharing these experiences with family and friends. Art also had a profound love for his dogs—Penny, King, Goldie, Lil' Bit, and Jet—who brought immense happiness into his life.
He leaves behind a devoted family, including his children Britnie (Allen) Holley, Brennan (Jessica) Holley, and Chasity Holley, as well as his beloved girlfriend Nicole Jackson. Art was a proud grandfather to A.J., Ryaire, Ryder, and Raziyah, who is on her way to join the family. He is also survived by his sister, Teresa Holley, and brother, Gary Brady, Sr., along with many other relatives and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Art was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Godfrey Holley, Sr. and Hazel North, as well as his brother Charles Brady. Their shared memories will live on through the stories and laughter passed down through the generations.
As we remember Art Holley, Jr., we celebrate a life well-lived—a life that was rich in love, humor, and the simple joys of companionship. His legacy of kindness and the countless moments of joy he created will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 5-8pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
