Arron Micah Newberry was born August 23, 1970, in Dayton, Ohio to Willie and Mary James Newberry. He attended Belmont High School.
Although he was employed with General Motors for 15 years; his passion was wrestling. His endeavors with wrestling afforded him the opportunity to traveled to Paris, France to audition for the World Championship Wrestling organization. Arron chose Dawreckr as his stage name and later co-founded Unified Championship Wrestling (UCW) with the late Roger Cox and Mark Bryant. Within UCW Arron was a member of the Four Dark Horsemen and Tru Thugs along with Stephen Bobo, Kirk Scearce and Roger Cox. The group went on to win many titles with Dawreckr teaming with many others in the division. After pursing his dream of wrestling, Arron traveled the world doing multiple professional security jobs.
Arron is proceeded in death by his mother, Mary James Newberry, sister Angela Newberry; mother-in-law Mary Woods, and friend and business partner Roger Cox.
Arron leaves to cherish his memories wife, Dorothea; daughter, DaVonna (Demetrius); 3 sons, Arron II, DeVontae' and Julian; granddaughter Ariyah Newberry, grandson Demetrius "Bubbie" Jackson Jr; father Willie Newberry, sister, Wanda Withers and brother Mark Newberry; sisters-in-law, Peggy Lightfoot, Kim (Marlon) Davis, Sonya Lightfoot, Lisa Simmons, Tammy Lightfoot, and Tricia Lightfoot; brothers-in-law, Troy Shropshire and Kevin Withers; Uncles; Hurel White, Michael Murphy, Willie (Monica) Murphy, Audie (Brenda) Murphy and Aunt; Michelle (Jessie) Mays; Special Nieces JaMiya Camp and Kiara Murphy; Special Nephew, Demico Byrd; Special Friends, Sam Hemmingway, Tammy James, Jeremiah Keith, Rick Landers, Eddie and Tracey Olinger, Robert Scott, Shaun Simmons, Andrea Talley, Eric and Kausha Turney; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arron was a gentle giant & critical thinker that shared a love for music and video games. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Arron's thought-provoking conversations and corny jokes will be truly missed!
