Arnold Rose, 87, of Trotwood, passed away June 19, 2016. Arnold was born in Siler, KY on March 4, 1929 to the late Arthur and Tisha Rose.
Arnold retired from Trotwood Madison after over 30 years of service. He was a member of VFW post # 7596 in Franklin for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed bluegrass music, gardening, serving in the honor guard and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Flora Rose.
He is survived by his son, Tony (Susan) Rose, granddaughters, Jamie (Thomas) Ladd, Miranda (Cody) Petkus; great grandchildren, Izabelle, Lily, Braelynn; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 4-6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will follow on Friday June 24 at 1 pm. Entombment at Byron Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Honor Flight, 200 Canary Court, Enon, OH 45323.
