Age 68 of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Arnold was born June 10, 1938, the son of Gerald and Sarah Farmer. He served our country in the United States Navy. Arnold was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Carrollton. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jean Farmer; children, Gwendolen E. (Ronald) Henry of Lebanon, PA and Scott A. (Paige) Farmer of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Mindy and Nicolas Henry and Kari, Kristen, and Valerie Farmer. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Stanley, Larry, and Doug Farmer. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of West Carrollton, 705 South Elm Street. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Mark Scroggins will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Arnold's memory to Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel.
