EVANS, Arlie T.
age 87 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital. Arlie was born January 1, 1919 in Bruin, KY, the son of Charles and Sarah Evans. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II (1942-1945). Arlie retired from NCR after 27 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elenor Evans; children, Arlie T. (Mary) Evans, Jr., Raymond L. (Stefanie) Evans, Diana L. (Richard) Holten, and Ralph A. (Mary Beth) Evans; grandchildren, Tomi, Eric, Brittney, Sarah, Leslie, Kelsey, Benjamin, and Kara Beth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arlie was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in David's Cemetery. Rev. Mary Jane Leech will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Arlie's memory to Dorothy Lane American Baptist Church, 960 W.
