COMBS, Arlie
Age 85, of Beavercreek joined his Lord and Savior on July 27, 2014 at the Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 20, 1929 in Perry County, KY to the late, Ben and Meary Combs. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lula F. Combs; granddaughter, Elizabeth McCarty. He loved gospel music and fishing. He retired from Delco Products with 45 years of service.
He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Graham and son, Arlie D (Lisa) Combs of Riverside; sister, Airetta (Larry) Bailey of Dayton. He is also survived by grandchildren, Michael, Katrina, Cassandra, Dustin, and Doug; 12 great grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters in law, Nora Faye (Les) Merrill of Krypton, KY and Mahala (Hiram) Baker of Lexington, KY; brother in law, Ben (Faye) Fugate of Richmond, KY; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend Merci. He loved his family dearly.
Many thanks for the excellent care provided at Miami Valley Hospital, Neuro ICU and Neurology units as well The Hospice of Dayton. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Landmark Baptist Church, 4242 Needmore Rd. from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Landmark Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Houston Cemetery in Houston, OH.
