Age 77, of Huber Heights, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick & Ella Wray; and by one grandson, Matthew Shuger.
Arlene is survived by five children, Barbara (Lee) Huber, Joanne (Steve) Shuger, Michael (Shelly) Litten, Susan (Mark) Arthrell, and Donna Viney (& Johnny Stewart); grandchildren, Barbi, Jennifer & Cristina Huber, Greg, Ben & Stephanie Shuger, Kevin & Jonathan Litten, Sara & Samantha Arthrell, Danny & Allison Viney; four great grandchildren, Payton, Cohen, Lilly & Maya; two sisters, Virginia Rowland and Sharon Taggesell; and by several nieces and nephews.
Arlene retired from Kroger Company with 29 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church (where Arlene had been a member for many years), 456 Woodman Dr., Dayton (Phone: 937-256-1082). Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Arlene to the National Kidney Foundation.
