Arlene Kay Rhodes

Rhodes, Arlene Kay, age 59, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013. She was a very special loving child who loved life and her mother. Their bond was inseparable. Arlene loved to play bingo at Moraine Bingo and loved all of her friends at bongo and the Oaks.

Arlene is survived by her mother: Patricia A. Jones; sister: Cathy (Dennis) Miller; brothers: Kevin Rhodes (loving soul mate, Janice Urke) & Todd Rhodes; nieces: Stephani Sage & Ashley Massey; and great nieces: Bailey Sage, Lacie Forewright & Alexis Massey. She was preceded in death by her father: Harry A. Rhodes and grandmother: Esther Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery in Beavercreek. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kettering Hospital MSICU for their love and care of Arlene.
