Beatrice "Arlene" Browning, age 77 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021. She was born September 27, 1943 in Coalgood, Kentucky to the late Clifford and Arletia Shackleford.
In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Robert Lee "Butch" Browning; two sisters, Carolyn Eisen and Gayle Smith; one brother, Nelson Shackleford; nephew, Timmy Smith; and niece, Sheila Strahan.
Arlene will be missed by her loving daughter, Carol (Paul) Carlile; grandson, Robert James Browning (Cassy) and David (Nicole) Allen; granddaughter, Kaylyn Carlile (Dalton); two great grandchildren, Damen Elliott Landers and Legacy Rae Allen; three nieces; one nephew; and several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Arlene's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
A memorial to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
