Arland Wayne Rike

RIKE, Arland W. "Ric", age 88, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Orpha Rike. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ann Rike; son, William B. and Martha Rike and daughter, Debra A. and Barry Oliver; 4 grandsons, and 4 great granddaughters. He served during WWII in the Navy and retired after 43 years from General Motors. Arland was also very active with his church. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Christ's Church, 3370 Upper Bellbrook Rd., Bellbrook, OH. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, OH. Family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
