Argie Davis

DAVIS, Argie, 74, of Dayton went to be with the Lord Tuesday May 27, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents Ira and Lydia Davis and brother Sherman Davis. Argie is survived by his wife Peggy Davis; children Sheila R. (Dana) Howard and Steven C.(Annette) Davis; grandchildren Steven and Rachel Davis and Elisabeth, Erin, and Emily Howard; brothers Clyde, Kenny, Raymond, Donald, and Paul Davis; sisters Blanche Corsaw and Pauline Reige; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Postal Services after 35 years of service. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday June 2, 2008 at First Pentecostal Church of Murlin Heights, 8921 N. Dixie Dr. Family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00PM Sunday June 1, 2008 at the church. Entombment will follow services Monday at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
