Age 70, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, September 26, 2008.
Ardythe was born November 29, 1937 in Johnstown, PA to Richard Owen Sr. & Florence P. (Sell) Hughes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rupert & Calvin Hughes.
She was a loving and devoted mother to Ronald & Brenda Williams, David & Diana Williams, Pamela & Douglas Wantz, and Christopher & Christy Williams; cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren, Amanda, Craig, Meghan, Zachary, Alexandria, Cortney, Alaina, Olivia, Joshua and Adam. Other survivors include four brothers and sisters-in-law, George & Jean, Richard & Dorothy, Dean & Jean and Lloyd & Alice Hughes; and by Ronald & Patricia Williams.
Ardythe was a member of Linden Avenue Baptist Church in Dayton and a former member of Grove Avenue UMC in Johnstown, PA. She retired from the Montgomery County Auto Title Office in Huber Heights with 10 years of service.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday (10/2) at the Linden Avenue Baptist Church, 101 Linden Avenue, Dayton. Her daughter, Pastor Pamela Wantz, will officiate. Newcomer, North Chapel in charge of arrangements.
