Aralla Lee Johnson

Aralla Lee Johnson, age 87, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Aralla was born in Newport News, VA on November 17, 1936 to the late Amos & Vernice Banks. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, uncles, and best friend, Loraine. 

Aralla is survived by her children, Kevin Butler, Sylvia (Charles) White, Zina Johnson, and Tina Johnson; many grandchildren-including Royce, Leah and Austin Johnson who were like her children, numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Olga McCullar, Rosetta (Dickie) Bell, and Yvonne (Jimmy) Pettit; close friend, Maxine Stone and Bud; and many other extended relatives and friends. 

Aralla was the Bingo & Casino Queen! She loved butterflies and elephants. 

Aralla will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 12-2pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 2pm.
