Antonio "Tony" Ribas, Jr.
Age 90, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012.
Tony was born April 2, 1922 in Anmoore, West Virginia to the late Antonio & Mercedes (Gonzalez) Ribas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Julia; and by two brothers, Manuel & Louis.
Tony is survived by his wife of the past 67 years, Norma Ribas; three children, Victoria (Larry) Linder, Denis (Barbara) Ribas & Debora (Dan) Marrero; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Edgar; and by his extended family & many good friends.
During WW II he served in the U. S. Navy and then went on to retire from General Motors with 30 years of service.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Dale R. Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
