ANTHONY A. "ANDY" SINGLETON, was born January 14, 1937, to John and Annabelle Singleton in Dayton, OH. He graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1955.

He attended Miami University and Wright State University. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years as a Surgical Tech with an Evac Hospital stationed in Germany. He worked for Elder-Beerman's for 41 years, rising to Vice President in their Data Processing Services division. Andy met his wife Phyllis at Indian Lake in 1954 and they were married in 1959. They had 2 daughters.

Andy was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and also the Fraternal Order of Moose and the American Legion. He loved playing golf with his buddies at WGC, bowling at Beaver-Vu and Poelking lanes over the years, as well as playing cards and spending time with his many friends.

Andy is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Zimmer); daughters Cindy (Hugh) Barnett of Springfield, and Kathy Noe of Charlotte, NC; 4 grandchildren: Renee Noe of Cincinnati, Sarah Noe of Jacksonville, FL, Wil Barnett and Rob Barnett of Springfield; and son-in-law Gerry Noe of Liberty Township. Andy has 2 brothers-in-law: Dr. Robert (Carol) Zimmer of Washington Township, and Bill Zimmer of Bellbrook.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John (Helen) Singleton and Annabelle (Guy) Cordell.

Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, with a Memorial Service to follow at 6pm. Contributions in Andy's name may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the charity of your choice.
