Anthony J. Scoglietti, "Tony," age 73 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born May 30, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Tony and Marie Scoglietti.
Tony is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda; 4 children, Steve (Ann) Scoglietti, Tracey (Mike) Chunat, Carrie Cotter, Nicholas Scoglietti; step-children, Wendy (Shawn) Joy, Jeff (Amy) Brandstetter; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Scoglietti and Joyce Scoglietti; as well as numerous loving relatives and many friends.
Tony was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He and Linda were both very active members of Oakwood United Methodist Church. Since childhood, Tony was very proud of his model train collection. Tony had a great sense of humor and many would say that "he never met a stranger." He was a loving, caring man who gave wonderful bear hugs. Tony will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 pm.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
