Anthony Renney

Anthony "Twon" Renney, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2023. He was born on August 11, 1990 in Dayton, OH to Chrissy Boykin and Gene Renney.

Anthony had a smile that would light up the room as soon as he entered it. He was a unique, beautiful, caring, loving, kindhearted person, with a heart of gold, who would do anything to help anyone. He was an inspiration to many and always jumped right into life to have fun, try new things and be there for others. In his spare time, he enjoyed nature, fishing, kayaking, travel, art, music, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. He had a special knack for finding 4 leaf clovers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We will never forget his smile or his laughter.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Coldiron, brother, Corey Gilbert; his uncles, Jimmy Coldiron and Josh Coldiron.

He is survived by his loving parents; Chrissy Boykin and Gene (Ellen) Renney; his siblings, Bill Gilbert, Dakota Boykin, Rickie Lynn Boykin, Morgan Boykin, Brandon Boykin, Susan Dillion and Justin Loyd; his paternal grandparents, Gene and Sue Renney and his maternal grandmother, Ina "Gmoney" Coldiron; his great uncle Gary (Joey) McCargish; his uncle Mike (Julie) Renney, his aunt Yolanda Coldiron; cousin Casey (Rory) Konemota; cousin Caitlin Coldiron; cousin Megan Renney; niece Amber (Dustin) Messer; nephew Seth Gilbert. He is also survived by Tony Boykin and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00pm with his Celebration of Life immediately following, all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
