Anthony A. Maxwell

Anthony Alan Maxwell, 61, of Dayton, OH, passed away on June 5, 2023. He was born on January 18, 1962, in Cyprus. Anthony, affectionately known as Tony to those who knew him, was well loved and respected by family and friends. His larger than life persona was matched by his humor, his love for his family, and his passion for motorcycles. He will be greatly missed.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Heidi Maxwell; fathers: Abner Sargent and Larry Maxwell; brother, Larry Maxwell; son, AJ (Melissa) Maxwell; and daughter, Amy. Tony also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother James Maxwell.

Anthony honorably served in the US Army, and his military associations were an important part of his life.

A Celebration of Life for Anthony will be held on Sunday, July 16, from 5-7pm at the American Legion Northridge Memorial Post 746, located at 7015 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH 45414.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Humane Society at 1661 Nicholas Rd, Dayton, OH 45417.
