Anthony J. Marquitz "Tony", age 84 of Centerville, passed away on May 11, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on July 7, 1936 in Dayton to the late Joseph and Marie (Mott) Marquitz.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; children, Stephen Marquitz and Michelle (Mark) Moser; step-children, Denise Crawford, Lori (Dan) Bartosik and Lisa (Matt) Landon; grandchildren, Faith, Jennifer, David and Ryan; great granddaughter, Parker and numerous extended family members.
Tony served proudly right after high school in the U.S. Navy on the Pom Pon submarine from 1953 to 1959. He worked at NCR and then retired from General Motors in Dayton.
Family will receive guests from 2-3 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, 45459) where a memorial service with military honors will begin at 3 PM. "The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places."
