Anthony Earl Jackson

JACKSON, Anthony Jackson, 60 of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elizabeth Marie (Miller) Jackson, brother Jeffery L. Jackson, sister and brother-in-law Emma Sue and Kelly Combs.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his beloved fiance Odelia Finley, children Anthony Jackson II, Felicia Jackson, Adam Jackson, Alex Jackson, Alonzo Jackson, grandchildren Faith Jackson, brother Derrell A. Jackson, sister and brother-in-law Henrietta (Wilmar) Shearer. Also surviving are Odelia's family and grandchildren, Yvonne Finley, Terri L. Finley, Daruis L. Battle, Sha'mera C. Wallace, Jamell A. Brown, Tarra A. Finley, Kevin L. Fletcher, Brooklyn C. Lovett.

Anthony was a member of Zion Baptist Church where he was an usher, was a retired truck driver, 1978 graduate of Dunbar High School and Sinclair Community College where he received his Associates Degree. He played football at Dayton Dunbar. He loved the Miami Dolphins. He also enjoyed cooking.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at ZION BAPTIST CHURCH, 1684 Earlham Drive, Dayton 45406 on Saturday, December 21, 2019 starting at 11:00 followed by a Celebration of Anthony's life at 1:00 pm with Reverend Dr. Rodney Carter presiding.
