Anthony "Jack" Kerr, age 68 of Tipp City, passed away peacefully May 26, 2015 at his home. He was born April 9, 1947 in Greeneville, TN to the late James and Wanda (Cutshaw) Kerr. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Kerr and brother-in-law, Randel McVey.
He is survived by his son, Brad (Corrie) Kerr; daughter, Lisa (George) Mathenia; grandchildren, Brandon and Nolan Mathenia; siblings, Brenda McVey and DeVonda (Larry) Vanderpool; nieces and nephews, Greg (Trish) McVey, Mark (Jamie) McVey, Dean Kerr, Brian Kerr, Donna McVey, Mandie (Eric) Perry, Ambra Vanderpool; best friend, Charlie Allen; pups, Brandy and Bailey; numerous extended family and friends.
Jack proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marine Corps having earned two Purple Heart Medals. He worked and retired from General Motors after over 30 years of service. Jack loved working with his hands and wood, having crafted many original pool tables over the years.
