Anthony "Tony" Duane Thomas, age 63, passed away suddenly Friday, October 16, 2015. Tony graduated from Roosevelt 1971, and attended Wright State. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Alice Thomas; brother, George Thomas Jr.
Tony leaves to celebrate his life, loving and devoted siblings, brother, Lowell E. Thomas; sister, Carol L. Smith; uncles, John (Arlene) Cole, Larry Cole, both of Hillsboro, OH; aunt, Barbara Cole of Greenfield, OH; nephews, Christopher Thomas, Brett A. Smith, both of Dayton, Corwin M. (Erica) Smith of Englewood; niece, Courtney L. (Antonio) Garrison of Huber Heights; step-mother, Annie Marie Thomas; special childhood friend, Ann Richardson; 1 step-brother; 3 step-sisters; a host of other relatives and close friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH), Rev. Arnita Peavy officiating; 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Final disposition, cremation.
