Annie (Hayner) Stacy

June 23, 1937 — May 4, 2015

STACY (Hayner), Annie, age 77, of Fairborn, widow of the late Rev. Ralph Stacy, earned her angel wings on Monday, May 4, 2015. Annie was born June 23, 1937 in South Charleston, OH, the daughter of Floyd and Olive (Jenkins) Hayner. She lived in Springfield, OH for 30 years and lived in Fairborn, OH for the last 40+ years. She devoted her life to being a Christian and a soldier for the Lord and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She sang her praises to the Lord and could be heard over the years on Gospel radio stations throughout OH, VA, WV, KY and IN.

Annie was a member of the First Assemblies Church of God, where she served as a piano player. Before being a member there she was an active member in the All Gospel Church of God, which her husband founded in 1966. She held several positions in that organization. She played piano and sang like an angel. She was the mother of the church and served as General Secretary for many years. She was also a member of the Victory Hill Bible Institute. She enjoyed her years being a loving wife and standing proudly as a devoted Pastor's wife. Her life time dream has been to be reunited with her parents and her family someday in Heaven. Today she can rejoice her achievement. She was the voice of wisdom for her grandchildren, stood diligently by their sides teaching them the power of prayer and the strength gained from God.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 2006; her parents, Floyd and Olive Hayner; her grandparents, Oliver and Mary Jenkins, and Emma Hayner; brothers, Clarence Hayner, Floyd Hayner, Jr., Robert Hayner, and Leroy "Bud", and granddaughter, Kimberly Ann. She is survived by daughters, Cheryl Sparks of Plattsburgh, NY and Debbie (Phil) Newland of Fairborn, OH; step son, Ray (Brenda) Stacy of Xenia; sister and best friend, Mary Brown of Fairborn, OH; brothers, Donald "Donnie" (Mary) Hayner and William "Bill" (Jane) Hayner all of Springfield, OH; several nieces and nephews, and multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Annie leaves behind a very special loving friend and companion, Mark Daniels, who has been by her side and will sadly miss his quality time and dinners out with Annie.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Christopher Lutman and his staff, the crisis care nurses from Hospice of Dayton and Mark Daniels and his family for the love, the kindness, and devotion they gave to Annie.
