Annette Johnson, age 63 of Jefferson Township, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at her home. She was born August 22, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to Harold and Thelma Johnson.
Annette was preceded in death by her father, Harold Leon Johnson, former Flying Mayor of Moraine.
In addition to her mother, Thelma Irene Johnson of Moraine, Annette is survived by her sister, Patricia Harlow of Jefferson Township; aunts and uncles, Eddie (Thelma) Johnson and Wilma McClure and her canine companions, Skaha and Amess Nugget. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Following graduation, Annette worked at the Moraine Airport, a family business. She also was a skilled cake decorator, working over the years for several local bakeries including Woody's, Meijer and Trotwood Bakery and later generously gave her time to creating cakes as gifts for friends and family. Annette had currently been employed by PNC Mortgage. She was very close to her family and spent the majority of her life loving and supporting them over years as well as enjoying photography, collecting cows and Star Trek memorabilia and caring for her beloved pets in her leisure time.
A celebration of life will be hosted by her family at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1391 South Union Road, Dayton, OH 45417. New Burlington Cemetery in Wilmington will eventually serve as her final resting place. Memorial contributions may be made in Annette's name to Historic WACO Airfield at 1865 S Co Rd 25A, Troy, OH 45373.
