Anne Margaret Plattenburg, age 54, of Kettering passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019. Anne was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 11, 1965.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Margaret Anne Plattenburg and father, Clifton Edward Plattenburg, Jr.
Anne is survived by her sister, Debbie & her husband, Chuck Doll; brother, Judd & his wife, Suzy Plattenburg; life partner, Jody Knight; nieces, Lauren Jessup and Emily McDermott; nephew, Joseph Plattenburg and beloved dogs, Maggie Mae and Pablo.
Anne received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from University of Dayton. She then went on to get her Master's Degree from Andrew's University for Physical Therapy. She was hired on at Miami Valley Hospital soon after that. Anne took such good care of her patients and helped them learn how to heal themselves through gentle exercises and stretching. She went on to lead their Aquatic Therapy Program. Anne enjoyed and excelled at playing tennis, swimming, running, and many other sports. She was also a creative soul who always added something special to any project she was involved in.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 Smithville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45420, where family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
