Anne Elizabeth Huntley

Anne Elizabeth Huntley, age 55, of Piqua, passed away November 27, 2023. She was born April 8, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio to the late David Sweeney and Evelyn Sweeney, who survives. In addition to her father, Anne was preceded in death by her grandparents: Henry & Margaret Obley and Daniel & Margaret Sweeney.

In addition to her mother, Anne is survived by her husband, Derrick Kallen; children: Jessie (Briar), Emily (Michael), Daniel and Kaylee; grandchildren: Eisley and Memphis; sister, Peggy (Mike) Colville; brother, John (Dawn) Sweeney; niece and nephews: Kristen, Joshua and Kyle; many other relatives and friends.

Anne loved early Rock and Roll music and was an avid Beatles fan. She enjoyed camping, being outdoors and swimming with her granddaughter, Eisley. She was a very smart woman who was good at playing Jeopardy (and she let everyone know) and in junior high she enjoyed studying Native Americans.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 4:00 pm on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm. Anne loved animals so it would be fitting for any contributions to be made in her memory to a local animal shelter of your choice.
