Anne Baird

Baird, Anne M., age 94, of Dayton, passed away at 5 pm on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born May 31, 1912 in Rochester, NY the daughter of Jim & Carrie Corbett. She retired from Gorman School For the Handicapped where she worked as a LPN for approximately 20 years. She was an avid bowler, card club player, loved to travel and was active in the Dayton Professional Women's Association. Anne was a caring, giving person her entire life. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Baird; and her brother & sister-in-law, Ed & Ella Corbett. Survivors include her sons, Patrick of Dayton & Robert of Beavercreek; grandchildren, Christine (Dave) Fries of Springboro, Robert (Darla) Baird, Jr. of Beavercreek, & Jon (Lisa)Baird of Worthington, OH; and great grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Brian, Cameron, Ian, Ryan, Diana, Ella, & Addie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 PM on Friday, December 8, 2006 at St. Peter Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights, OH 45424. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery on Monday, December 11, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Dayton, OH 45432 on Thursday from 5-7 PM.
