Annabelle Shemo, age 86, of New Carlisle, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born December 27, 1929 in Defiance, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willow and Jacob Beck; husband, Albert J. Shemo; siblings, Samuel F. Beck, Mary Bordner, Betty Tarr and Wilma Schlosser; son-in-law, Dale Mullins and grandson, Jared T. Shemo.
Annabelle is survived by her children, George T. (Linda) Shemo, Patricia A. Mullins and Joseph (Lisa) Shemo; brother, Jacob E. Beck; grandchildren, Justin T. (Robyn) Shemo, Jessica A. (Eric) Akey, Joseph M. (Rachel) Shemo, Heather M. Shemo, Cody L. Fry and Alenia M. Shemo; great-grandchildren, Parker T. Akey, Preston L. Akey, Kinsley R. Shemo, Peyton T. Akey and Jordyn L. Schulz-Shemo. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the Mass at 10:30 am on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 209 W Lake Ave., New Carlisle, OH 45344. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Hospice of Dayton.
