Anna Stevenson

STEVENSON, Anna Marie (Griffin) , 76, of Germantown, formerly of Kettering, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007. Born July 27, 1930 in Renfro Valley,(Rockcastle Co.), KY to Bertha Annette Griffin and Claude Griffin Sr. She was one of 14 children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband: Fred Stevenson, brothers: Monroe Griffin and Arthur Griffin, sisters: Edna Maue, Nanella Shivel, and Dorothy Tackett. Anna is survived by her brothers: Claude (Lena) Griffin Jr. of Dayton, John C. (Dorothy) Griffin, of Frankfort, KY and George W. Griffin, of Houston TX and sisters Ruth Miller, Mt. Orab, OH Georgene Day, Hamersville OH. Julia Marker, Sardinia, OH. Martha Knight, Murray, Kentucky. and Linda Kessinger, Leitchfield, Kentucky. Many loving nieces and nephews, her very best friend of 55 years, Goldie Cox, and her constant companion/wonderful dog, Srage, whom she loved dearly. The family would like to express special thanks to her neighbor, Chrissy Henderson, her caregiver, Vi Sebree, and her brother and sister-in-law Claude (Simon) and Lena Griffin for all they did throughout her extended illness. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Paul Race will be officiating. Family will receive friend's from12:00-2:00PM prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at David's Cemetery.
