Anna Lee Smith

Anna Lee Smith, 68, passed away on July 9, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on April 12, 1954 in Aliceville, Alabama to the late Henry and Lucy Ann Wilkins. She moved to Buffalo, New York in 1966.
Anna graduated from East High School in 1972. That same year, she met the love of her life, Larry C. Smith. During the time Anna lived in Buffalo, New York, she worked over 20 years in Nursing. Anna then relocated to Ohio in 2011. In 2012, she was baptized at C.L.C. (Christian Life Center). Anna was actively involved in donating to different organizations, such as, The Fire Department, Police Department, Dayton Children's Medical, and State of New York as well as Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Larry C. Smith; brothers, L.C. Wilkins and Johnny J. Wilkins; brother-in-law, Author Smith.
Her memory will be cherished by her daugher, Nicole (Kyle) George; step-sons: Leroy (Lisa) Smith and Lawrence Smith; her grandchildren: Clifton Cummings, Felicia Cummings, Cornelius Cummings, Raheem Cummings, Ajanique Cummings, Ja'Nea Cummings, Austin Burlong, Imani George, and Kyle George II; siblings: Henry (Daisy) Wilkins Jr., Shell Mitchell, Gloria Wilkins, Odell (Michele) Wilkins, Lucille (Paul) Jacko, and Efen Wilkins; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Ford and Torlin Reed; brothers-in-law, John Allen and Elvin Allen Jr.; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00am.
