Age 78, of Tipp City, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry "Tato" & Rose "Baba" Novotny; and by four children, Richard, Laura Lee, Stephen and Joseph Schlein.

Anna Rose is survived by her husband of the past 62 years, Robert E. Schlein; three children, Robert Jr & Jane Schlein, Janice Eaton & her fiancé, Rick Cole and Geralyn Phillips; six grandchildren, Theresa & Roy Lewis, Jill & Jason Priest, Bobby III & Sue Schlein, Lisa Schlein, Kyle Phillips & Tyler Phillips; eight great grandchildren, Roy III, Shelby, Brett, Hayley, Cameron, Dallas, Tiffany and Racheal; one sister, Mollie Cvitkovich; three sisters-in-law, Bea Buck, Patricia & Jack Thuney and Jeanette Schlein; and by numerous nieces & nephews and many good friends.

Anna Rose enjoyed gardening & plants and was an avid reader and lover of animals. She will be remembered by her family as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Anna Rose to any Animal Rescue Organization of your choice or to the American Lung Association.
