Anna Lou Rice

Ms. Anna Lou Rice, age 70 of Dayton, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home. She was born on April 7, 1951 in Confluence, Kentucky to the late Huey J. (Ima Jean) Rice and Louvena Begley (Cliff) Frazier. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Sue Colwell and Creola M.F. Frazier; maternal grandparents, Creola (Alfred) Begley; and sister-in-law, Rose Rice.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Joanna Rice-Harbut; grandson, Xavier Deloch; four siblings, Douglas Rice, Bonnie Begley, Ollie Gail Carter, and Cliff A. Frazier; aunt, Rosanna Williams; and special family friends, Malcolm Deloch and Larry (Sheryl) Nichols. She is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was devoted to her faith and a member of Beavercreek Church of God also Impact Christian Center. She graduated from Patterson Co-Op and served in her community as a dental assistant and also owned and operated a cleaning company. Anna enjoyed attending Bible studies and spreading the message of Jesus. The most important thing to Anna was her family, a good cup of coffee, and watching Perry Mason. She is well loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
