HAWKER, Anna Meriam, passed away January 31, 2015 in Xenia, Ohio. Her goal was to live to be 100 and she accomplished that goal on October 25, 2014. She was born in Beavercreek, Ohio to Earl and Ethel Koogler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Hawker and her brother, Wilber Koogler. She is survived by her brother, Everett Koogler; son, James (Jeri) Hawker; daughter, Arlene Hackett; 4 grandchildren, Marcy Burke, Jim Hawker (Sandi), Jamey Hackett (Cathy) , and Ellen Siverling (Paul); 4 great grandchildren, Colton Hawker (Nyesha Hall), Derrick Hackett, Mya Siverling, and Rebekah Burke; great great grandson, Colton Hawker II, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, with family receiving friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service. She will be buried next to her husband at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek.
