Anna Harriet Hopping
August 4, 1942 — April 8, 2023
Anna Harriet (Donaghy) Hopping, age 80 of Dayton, OH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 4, 1942 in Londonderry Northern Ireland to Frank and Eva Donaghy. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Hopping, Jr.
Anna moving to America in 1966 with the love of her life. She was strong Irish woman determined to give her children a better life in America. She accomplished that and so much more. She retired from Lincoln Park Manor and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2800.
Anna is survived by her 3 daughters, Tracey (Gary) Angi, Sharon (Dan) Meyer and Janet (Brian) Carter; preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Hopping-Ulm; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Anna lived her entire life for her family and giving selfless to everyone who crossed her path. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-2:00pm, on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
