Anna Mae (Pat) Forsthoefel, age 94 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Carlyle House in Kettering. She was born October 2, 1921 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Grebner.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Forsthoefel; son, Mark Forsthoefel; son-in-law, Mike Pennucci; daughter-in-law, Janet Forsthoefel; grandson, Chris Mullan; and great-grandson, Charles Anthony Kulhanek III. Pat is survived by her four daughters, Barbara (Mike) Pennucci, Marilyn (Robert "Buzz") Portune, Susan (John) Mullan, and Anne (Gregory) Callahan; four sons, David (Arlene) Forsthoefel, William (Marge) Forsthoefel, Thomas (Joan) Forsthoefel, and John (Julie) Forsthoefel. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Nancy Forsthoefel. Pat leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She is survived by numerous family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Pat has made over 56,000 rosaries for Our Lady of Fatima Missions. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, enjoyed bowling and senior water aerobics for over 40 years. Her real treasures were her faith and family.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH) on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen Church (605 Granville Pl, Dayton) on Friday, September 16, at 10:00 am.
