Anna Countiss

COUNTISS, Anna (York), age 103, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, AY York and Clarence Countiss; son, Edward York, and grandson, Thomas York.
Anna is survived by her children, Willard (Bernice) York and Barbara Davis; grandchildren, Sandra (Rick) Miley, Cindi (Chris) Linville, Kenneth (Alexis) Witt; daughter-in-law, Joyce York; 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She retired from Montgomery County Family Court Center after 20+ years of service and was a founding member of the Central Church of the Nazarene in Dayton, and served faithfully for over 50 years.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Crestview Manor Nursing Home for the loving care that they provided to Miss Anna over the past 4 years. Also, a special thank you to the staff of Crossroads Hospice for their care and concern.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:30 pm on Monday, March 23, 2015, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432. Burial will take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia, OH.
