Anna Pearl Armstrong, age 88, of Dayton went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2024. Anna was born in Frankfort KY. Anna was a loving wife and homemaker. Known by many for her amazing biscuits. An extremely selfless, kind and gentle woman that loved her family and puzzles but more than that, she loved the Lord. She was a prayer warrior until she took her last breath. Anna was a member of Englewood Pentecostal Church of God.
Anna is survived by her daughters: Betty Jo (Bob) Fig, Teresa Armstrong, Angela Armstrong; son, Christopher Armstrong; grandchildren: Tina (Greg) Stapleton, Kelly (James) Smith, Brian (Christina) Fig, Nicole (Clinel) Jones, Morgen Armstrong, Sage Armstrong, Cannon Lairmore, Jesse Peterson; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and a great-great granddaughter due in April; brother, Donald Barber; sister in law, Betty Barber; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Anna is preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years Boyd J. Armstrong; parents, Raymond T and Hallie June Barber; sister in law, Patty Barber; sisters: Linda (WS) Burton, Geraldine (Vernon) Murray; brothers: James and Robert Barber; great-grandsons Elijah and Jeremiah Smith
A memorial service will be held on January 20, 2024 at 12PM with visitation beginning one hour prior to service at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd Dayton Ohio 45424. Officiating by her grandsons, Pastor Greg Stapleton and Reverend James Smith.
