Ann R. Taylor

Ann R. Taylor, 75 of Dayton, Ohio, departed this life on Tuesday, Dec 27, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones at Hospice of Dayton.

She was born on August 28, 1947 to Robert and Sennie Taylor (Blount) in Dayton, Ohio. Ann was the oldest of four siblings and had one son.

Ann attended Roosevelt High School and immediately started working at the General Motors in Moraine until she retired.

After Ann retired she found her passion for sewing. She became a seamstress and loved it. She could make any outfit that you would possibly want from any pattern. She would redo furniture, put logos on t-shirt, coats, jackets and she did alterations for many clients.

She loved spending time with family and friends. Cooking out, playing board games, cards, talking trash and having a drink. She also baked the best chocolate cake with chocolate fudge icing from scratch that you could ever have.

Ann also enjoyed going to the casinos. She was lucky and would win most of the time.

Ann leaves behind her loving sister Sherri Taylor. Her grandchildren Jasmine, Cameron, Tamya, Ronald, Takaysha. Nephews Charles Taylor, Michael (Tia) Taylor, Robert (Shante) Taylor III. Nieces Scherrie Coleman, Alishia Wood and Italy Taylor and a host of great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving son Myron Taylor, her grandson Myron Taylor JR, her parents Robert and Sennie Taylor and her brother Robert Taylor II and sister Deborah Taylor.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00pm
