Ann Sharon Short, age 75, of West Carrollton, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021. She was born December 9, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Paul P. and Pauline (Keeney) Shadoan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Alan Shadoan, her son-in-law, Douglas E. Bowman, and her granddaughter, Sarah Marie Evers.
Ann Sharon is survived by her children, Paul Eugene Shadoan, Vicki Bowman, Nettie (Randy) Murphy, Thomas " Mouse" Short; 11 grandchildren, Katie Evers, Ezikye Shadoan, Audre and Flynn Shadoan, Jonne' Pletcher, Joshua Bowman, Brittany Murphy, Justin (Sarah) Murphy, Amber Short, Courtney (James) Roszel, and Jenna Short. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren, Aaden, Jalen, and Payten Pletcher; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Shadoan; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and many friends.
Throughout her career Ann Sharon worked for many years at Woodman Lanes, and department management at Kmart in Beavercreek and managed several Speedways in the Dayton area.
She was an avid bowler, loved playing cards, Bingo and going to the casino especially with her brother. Ann Sharon also enjoyed fishing and archery. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 12:30 pm until time of service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer, Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
If desired donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Ann Sharon's memory.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask be worn in all public places.
