Ann Shirley Mayrer

Ann S. Mayrer, 85, of Dayton, Ohio unexpectedly passed away peacefully at Miami Valley South on April 28, 2022 at 12:39 pm with her two daughters, Pam Nestor and Jodi Mayrer and dear friend Kathy Frauenknecht by her side. We are deeply saddened by her sudden death. She was born on January 28, 1937 in Williamson, West Virginia. Anyone who knew Ann "Shirley" was touched by her sweet nature and loving spirit. She was truly an inspiration to all. She attended the Church at Eastmont. She loved Jesus more than anything. She prayed for family and friends daily. Ann lived a beautiful, Godly, Christian life. Ann is survived by her two daughters, Pam (Tim) Nestor & Jodi Mayrer and two grandsons, Jahrad & Justin Deakyne. As well as extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Ann and her late husband, Terry, will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia, Ohio following the service.
