Ann Klosterman

Ann Claire (Reinhard ) Klosterman, age 90 of Beavercreek, OH, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Magdeline (Lauer), husband Cyril L. Klosterman, her infant son, Richard, and grandsons Joshua Johnson and Isaac Klosterman. Also proceeded by siblings Mary Mangeot, Carl Reinhard, Henry "Doc" Reinhard, Helen Hausfeld, and Sylvester "Bus" Reinhard.

Ann was a registered nurse, a loving wife of 67 years, mother of 14, grandmother of 29 and great-grandmother of 15. She was an avid letter writer and greeting card sender to all she knew. She cared for everyone who walked through her door and no one left empty handed. She loved her children, her flower beds, and watching birds at her feeder. She could make a hearty pot of soup and her pies were legendary. She was an enlightened thinker in both her holistic outlook and spiritual journey. She volunteered her time at the Corner Cupboard Charities of Greater Dayton Thrift Store for over 35 years.

Ann is survived by her children, Judy Tausch, Joe (& Carmelina) Klosterman, Jim Klosterman, John (& Sue) Klosterman, Jerry Klosterman, Jeff (& Lillian) Klosterman, Jane Klosterman, Marian Klosterman, Michael (& Christina Baranowski) Klosterman, Madonna (& Terry) Johnson, Nancy Klosterman, Susan (& Chris) Hampel and Madeline Klosterman. Grandchildren: Lisa, Jeremy, Jennifer, Scott, Andrew, Christopher, Nicholas, Emily, Heather, Megan, Shannon, Shelly, Ethan, Sylvia, Chelsea, Rebecca, Benjamin, Brendan, Tristan, Adam, Justin, Ashley, Tyler, Amy, Luke, Claire and Hannah, 15 great-grandchildren, along with her brother, Paul "Dick" Reinhard, nieces, nephews and friends.

A gathering of friends will take place from 1-3 PM Saturday, April 5, 2014 with the memorial service held at 3 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432.
