Ann E. Payne

PAYNE, Ann E. "Sis" age 87 of Kettering, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Heartland of Kettering. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Virginia Mantis, her brother Bill Mantis and her sister Margaret Sachsel. She is survived by Richard, her loving husband of 57 years; son Ric Payne and partner Robyn Hall of Cincinnati; daughters Kathi and husband Manos Manoussakis of Kettering, Cyndi and husband Keith Willoughby of Springboro; grandchildren Jason and Mat Hall, Tom and Bill Manoussakis, Maggie and Stacie Willoughby; brother Louis Mantis of Naples, FL; life long friends Dorothy Bordewisch and Teddy Russo and a host of other relatives and friends. Ann was a charter member of Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and working in her yard. Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., with Pastor Ronald Wean officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens.
