Ann Bullock Arnold

Ann Bullock Arnold, 79, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away August 30, 2021. Ann was born Setp. 7, 1941 in Farmville, Virginia and grew up in Skipwith, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Noel M. Bullock; mother, Irene Perry; and brother-in-law, Lennie Cleaton.

She graduated from Bluestone High School in 1960 and graduated from Mary Washington College in 1964 with a BA in Art. She taught middle school art in Manassas, Virginia for ten years and was Art Department Chairman for Manassas Park. She later graduated in 1995 from Wright State University, Fairborn, Ohio with a Masters in Art Education.

Ann enjoyed being with family, especially at Christmas. She never stopped her enthusiasm for learning which led to enjoy in depth her love for history, genealogy, gardening (especially old fashioned roses), antiques and traveling.

She is survived by Eddy Arnold, her husband of 53 years (formerly from Marysville, Ohio); sisters, Rae (Tom) Creedle and Faye Cleaton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; a special niece, Dawn (Jeff) Smith; also by four grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations be made to the Trinity Church Cemetery Fund, 4378 Wilbourne Rd., Skipwith, Virginia 23968.

Newcomb Allgood will be handling the arrangements in Virginia. Local arrangements entrusted to Newcomer North Chapel, Dayton.
