Anita "Nita" Weisenforth, age 79, of Centerville, left for Heaven on Saturday, November 5, 2016.
Nita was born on August 10, 1937 in Gary, IN to the late Raymond & Marie Lynch. Nita was an Air Force wife from 1956 to 1957, mother and wife in Ft. Worth Texas, Columbus Ohio, Kettering Ohio and Colorado Springs Colorado. She spent the last 17 years as a mother and wife in Centerville Ohio.
Devoted mother, grandmother and wife who put all of her energy and life into God and family. She left behind many spirit filled born again Christian friends made over the years of teaching and praying who will mourn her loss but will rejoice in knowing she will spend eternity in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This was her goal in life and she was adamant in reaching it. Nita was a fervent Bible reader and prayer warrior. Attended: Kettering Church of Christ, New Life Church, Bellbrook Community Church with Mildred Martin, taught Bible school, held prayer meetings and counseled needy Christians in understanding the born again, spirit filled Christian way of life. Nita devoted her life to Christ and her family.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 60 years, Ed Weisenforth; sister, Kathleen Longdo; children, Daniel J. Weisenforth, Eric J. Weisenforth and Susan M. Kline; grandchildren, Megan M. Kline and Nicolas J. Weisenforth; and great-grandchildren, Liam and Owen Weisenforth.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am.
