Anita R. Dunn, age 80, of Fairborn, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Anita was born in Dayton on July 25, 1943 to the late Robert & Ruby Napier.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Eugene Dunn; husband, Troy Dunn; siblings, Joann Gibson, Janice Blair, David Napier, Donald Napier, Gary Napier and Linda Lawson; and niece Theresa Hild.
Anita is survived by her daughters, Sheila Dunn (James Lemaster) and Twyla Dunn; grandchildren, James B. Lemaster, Melissa Lemaster Root and Crystal Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Savannah Lemaster, Mason Root, Lillian Root and Laurel Root; siblings Marlene Skeans, Dorothy Skeans, John Napier, Dorsey Napier and Robert Napier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anita was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a successful business owner with her husband, Troy. Anita was a great cook. She enjoyed collecting dolls and precious moments figurines. Anita liked watching Dancing with the Stars and Wheel of Fortune.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 2-4pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 4pm. Anita will be laid to rest next to her husband, Troy and her son, Curtis at Little Slate Cemetery Hope, KY.
