Anita L. Adams DeBrosse, age 71, of Dayton passed away on June 15, 2023. She was born in Dayton on December 30, 1951 to the late Alexander and Anna Mayberry. In addition to her parents, Anita is preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Beatty.

As a professional woman, Anita was a trailblazer, serving as both General Manager of H&H Industries as well as an executive Vice President of Human Resources of Digitron. She was responsible for managing human resources of over 400 people. During Digitron's most successful period spanning through the 1980's and 1990's, Anita was the heart and soul of the company, playing an integral role in the company's success. She balanced the high energy of the leadership with the human resource needs of the employees and was highly respected by the company's owners for the unique perspective she brought to the leadership team and the vital role she played in Digitron's overall success.
In her personal life, Anita was the quintessential homebody, having a special love for her for her animals, affectionately known as her "Babbettes". She was a devoted "Hallmark Romance and Christmas Movies" viewer. She was an avid social media user, in which she had forged many friendships around the country, including a very special friendship, Maureen from Middleton, NY. With her son, she shared a special bond in which they communicated daily, planning excursions to antique malls, preparing for Christmas (a year-round activity), and enjoying corny "Dad Jokes". She married the love of her life, Joe Debrosse in 2000. She also enjoyed poking fun at his ability of breaking common household items. She often posted these adventures on social media, referring to the damaged object as "having been 'Joe'd' ".
In closing, Anita will be tremendously missed by all of those who had the blessing of having had her in their lives.
