Angie Campbell, affectionally known as "the family hobbit" for her short stature, passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2025, in Fairborn, Ohio. Born on December 29, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, Angie was a vibrant and unforgettable personality who touched the lives of many.
A character in every sense of the word, Angie was known for her outspoken and sassy demeanor. She spoke her mind freely, and those who loved her knew it deeply. Her caring nature extended beyond her family to include her beloved dogs, Ruthie and Bear, who were an integral part of her life.
Angie had an eclectic range of interests that reflected her unique personality. She enjoyed watching crime shows and documentaries, often engaging with the suspense and drama they offered. Additionally, she loved playing games on her tablet and had a passion for collecting various items, including Betty Boop memorabilia, Coca Cola artifacts, Native American crafts, and stuffed animals.
She is survived by her children, Tyler (Ginger) Campbell, Heather (Chris) Taylor, and Leslie (David) Miracle; her significant other of 14 years, Bruce Watson; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Christian, Trent, Bailee, Lilly, Leah, Hailey, Devon, Sean, Zoie, Jessie, and Paige. Angie was eagerly anticipating two great-grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by her mother, Lily Mullins; her siblings, Tracey (Marla) Mullins, Shawna (David) Lowery, and Seth (Katie) Mullins; and many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, Linville Mullins, and her grandmother, Ruth White. In the hearts of her family, she will always remain a beloved figure, and her presence will be missed profoundly.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 2:30pm-4pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio, 45424. The service will follow at at 4pm.
